Amanohashidate

So A-man-o-hash-id-ate (pronounced aty) is number 2 of the three must-see sites in Japan. It's a thin strip of land with a forest and beach that separates two bodies of water.

We walked across it through a beautiful, secluded forest with a beach on both sides. It must have only been about 50 yards wide at the most. It was a beautiful walk and the forest was so peaceful.

When we got through to the other side, we realised that there was a cable car that took you up to see the site. Initially, we thought it was a regular cable car, but when we got there, this is what it was...
